Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Texas-licensed Nurse Practitioners to join a growing PRN Urgent Care Float Pool supporting an established outpatient practice in Austin, Texas.

This opportunity is designed for local providers seeking flexible supplemental work without committing to a fixed weekly schedule. As part of the PRN float pool, you'll have the opportunity to pick up available shifts based on clinic needs while delivering high-quality, patient-centered urgent care in a collaborative outpatient environment.

Clinical Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive urgent care services for patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries, including:

• Patient evaluations and focused physical examinations
• Diagnosis and treatment of common urgent care conditions
• Ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic testing
• Developing treatment plans and prescribing medications as appropriate
• Performing common office-based procedures within scope of practice
• Patient education and discharge planning
• Accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Coordination of follow-up care and specialty referrals when indicated

Typical Clinic Hours
Providers may be scheduled for PRN coverage during the clinic's operating hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Shift assignments will vary based on operational needs and provider availability.
Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Texas Nurse Practitioner license
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Current DEA registration (if applicable)
• Recent Urgent Care, Family Practice, Emergency Medicine or Walk-In Clinic experience
• Comfortable evaluating patients across a broad range of acute, non-emergent conditions
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient communication skills
• Local to the Austin metropolitan area or within a reasonable commuting distance
