Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Contract / Travel)

Austin, Texas

Contract (13-Week Travel Assignment) | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | No Call Required

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio in a 32+ bed unit
• Perform and assist with procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, Medics, and PCTs across shift rotations
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech EMR
• Anticipate patient and department needs to ensure efficient, high-quality emergency care

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• TNCC certification required by start date
• ENPC certification required by start date
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience

• Greater than 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• NIHSS certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR
