Description:
This is a contract position for an RN in Labor and Delivery.
The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotating weekends.
There are no call requirements.
The unit has a total of 32 beds.
The patient care ratio is 1:2.Night shifts include 1 charge nurse and 1 co-charge nurse to accommodate staffing needs.
Equipment used includes Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound.
The EMR system used is Meditech.
Typical procedures performed on the unit include SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC.Candidates should be team players with a positive attitude.
Dress code requires solid navy blue scrubs, with no T-shirts allowed.
Candidates are encouraged to apply if they have experience in a high-volume unit and internal monitor placement competency.
The unit values attendance and adherence to unit policies and guidelines.
