American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Newborn Nursery/NICU Level III position requiring 2 years of NICU experience and on-call availability.

• Work in the Newborn Nursery/NICU Level III unit of a 65-bed unit within an acute care hospital
• Care for neonatal patients with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 4:1
• Uses isolettes, ventilators, feeding pumps, IV pumps, and breast pumps
• Utilizes Meditech and CPN EMR systems
• 13-week contract on night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• On-call requirements apply
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Team includes charge nurse, team lead, transport nurse, RNs, RTs, and unit assistants

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
• 2 years of NICU experience required
• Level 4 NICU experience preferred
• Current NRP (Advanced 9th Edition) certification required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Provide direct nursing care to newborns in the nursery with capability to support NICU patients as needed
• Strong teamwork and a positive, adaptable attitude are valued on this unit
• Navy scrub color required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• One professional reference required for consideration
