Certified Nurse Aide

Lifespace Communities, a nonprofit senior living organization, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide for a Baylor schedule to support residents in our life plan community. In this role, you will provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, vital sign monitoring, mobility support, and basic comfort care for older adults in assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing settings. You will collaborate closely with nurses and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring residents' safety, dignity, and quality of life in a mission-driven, resident-first environment that values respect, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding for senior residents.
• Measure and document vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Support safe transfers, ambulation, and use of mobility devices, following proper lift techniques.
• Maintain resident comfort, dignity, and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Assist with meal set-up, hydration, and monitoring of intake and output.
• Keep rooms and common areas clean, organized, and compliant with infection control standards.
• Accurately document care, observations, and activities in electronic or paper records.
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to follow individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs, prioritizing safety and fall prevention.
• Participate in training, in-services, and quality improvement efforts within the community.
