Maternal Fetal Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin seeks a Maternal Fetal Medicine Nurse Practitioner to deliver advanced care for high-risk pregnancies in a collaborative academic setting. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive maternal-fetal assessments, manage complex prenatal conditions, and support evidence-based treatment plans alongside MFM physicians and an interdisciplinary team. You will educate patients and families, document care in EMRs, and contribute to research, quality improvement, and innovative care models that advance community-centered, equitable healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical care to maternal-fetal medicine patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of high-risk pregnancies.
• Conduct comprehensive prenatal and maternal-fetal assessments and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, sonographers, and other specialists to coordinate patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and care plans.
• Document care using electronic medical records in accordance with regulatory and institutional standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to safety and clinical protocols.
• Support research, education, and innovative care models aligned with Dell Medical School's mission.
• Contribute to a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative clinical learning environment.
