Contract RN - Antepartum/Labor and Delivery
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: Nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, rotating weekends. No call required.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Antepartum/Labor and Delivery Unit. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing exceptional care to patients during the antepartum phase while actively collaborating with the labor and delivery team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients in the Antepartum unit.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous drips, including insulin and heparin.
- Perform non-stress tests and manage hyperemesis cases.
- Collaborate effectively with the labor and delivery team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EMR systems.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certification are required.
- AWHONN and NRP certifications are preferred.
- Previous experience in Labor and Delivery or Antepartum settings is essential.
