Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab​/EP

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab for diagnostic and interventional procedures. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre- and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and clinical responses throughout procedures.
• Assist physicians during complex vascular and cardiac interventions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient assessments, and care plans.
• Ensure compliance with unit policies, infection control standards, and safety procedures.
• Support the training and mentoring of new staff and rotating team members.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac or cath lab setting.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Must have ARRT or RCIS credentials.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment with a sense of urgency.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with Philips EMR and Meditech systems preferred.
