Are you looking for the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while practicing full-scope midwifery alongside a collaborative physician-led team? Unified Women's Healthcare of Texas is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a well-established and growing women's healthcare practice in Austin.
This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care while developing your own patient panel within a supportive, team-oriented environment. You'll work alongside experienced OB/GYN physicians and advanced practice providers who are committed to delivering personalized, compassionate care for every patient.
Position Highlights- Established, respected practice serving the Austin area
- Collaborative team of 3 OB/GYN physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner
- Opportunity to build and grow your own CNM patient panel
- Full-scope midwifery practice including:
- Prenatal care
- Labor and delivery support
- Postpartum care
- Well-woman and gynecologic services
- Patient education and counseling
- 1 weekday call shift per week assisting with deliveries
- 1 weekend of call per month with physician backup available
- Productivity bonus opportunity
- Deliveries performed exclusively at St. David's North Austin Medical Center
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine support

- AMCB Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Graduate of an ACME-accredited Nurse-Midwifery program
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN/MS)
- Active or eligible Texas APRN-CNM license
- Active or eligible DEA registration
- Current CPR and NRP/NALS certifications
- One year of CNM experience preferred; exceptional new graduates will be considered
- Labor & Delivery nursing experience strongly preferred
