Curitec is seeking an experienced Clinical Wound Care Specialist to join our growing team in the Austin, Texas market. This is an excellent opportunity for a wound care professional who enjoys clinical education, building strong relationships, working independently, and making a meaningful impact in the facilities we serve.
This is not a traditional bedside nursing role
. Our Clinical Wound Care Specialists work directly with healthcare teams to provide wound care education, product expertise, clinical support, and exceptional service while helping facilities improve their wound care processes.
- Serve as a trusted wound care resource for our facility partners
- Provide hands-off clinical education and product recommendations
- Develop strong relationships with nurses, providers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals
- Assess wound care needs and assist facilities in selecting appropriate products
- Manage documentation and order-entry responsibilities accurately and efficiently
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to support facility partners
- Work independently while collaborating closely with Curitec’s clinical and leadership teams
- Identify opportunities to strengthen and expand relationships within your territory
- Active RN, LVN/LPN, PT, or PTA license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent, hands-on wound care experience
- Wound care certification strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of wound staging, treatment principles, and advanced wound care products
- Excellent communication, education, and relationship-building skills
- Strong technology and documentation skills
- Highly organized and comfortable managing a territory independently
- Comfortable with significant driving and variable daily schedules
- Ability to spend significant portions of the day on your feet
- Confident communicating with clinical staff, providers, administrators, and facility leadership
- Monday–Friday
- No weekends
- No holidays
- Local and regional travel within the assigned territory, potentially up to approximately a 3-hour radius
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
- Some early-morning starts based on facility schedules
- Base salary: Commensurate with education, experience, wound care expertise, and certification
- Variable commission opportunity in addition to base salary
