Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular​/CVOR

American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN circulator for a weekend-focused 13-week assignment requiring 3+ years of recent high-volume cardiac/thoracic/vascular circulating experience and a TX or compact RN license.

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 3 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR circulator in a high-volume hospital setting required
• Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures required
• Must be able to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment without extensive onboarding
• Verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed required
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start required
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start required

• Work within a CVOR service line comprised of 4-6 operating rooms, including an endovascular suite
• Support cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic dissection, heart transplantation, VAD placement, TAVR, and ECMO
• Facility has capacity for up to four concurrent procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass
• 13-week assignment with a schedule of three shifts ) covering Saturday/Sunday plus one weekday (Monday or Tuesday)
• Position is primarily weekend coverage with voluntary call participation
• Candidates must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate, varying by state
• First-time travelers are not likely to be considered given the experience level required
