Job TitleRegistered Nurse – Bone Marrow Transplant / Oncology (BMT/ONC)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | No Call Required
Key Responsibilities- Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy treatments, and blood products in accordance with facility policy; only RNs with documented competency and a completed ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate (15.25 contact hours) may administer chemotherapy
- Perform cell transplant support procedures, including CAR-T and bone marrow transplant-related care
- Conduct frequent lab draws and monitor patient responses to treatment
- Maintain safe handling, administration, and disposal of antineoplastic/hazardous medications per established policy
- Operate Alaris pumps and document care accurately within Meditech EMR
- Collaborate within a team-based environment maintaining a patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
- Active RN licensure in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate™ – full certificate (15.25 contact hours) required; the 9-contact-hour fundamental certificate is not accepted
- Demonstrated competency in chemotherapy administration (TCT experience required)
- Ability to adhere to unit dress code: navy scrubs; no artificial or gel nails; masks required in patient care areas
- Bone marrow transplant (BMT) experience
- CAR-T therapy experience
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
- Detail-oriented, team-focused approach to patient care
- Work on a specialized 24-bed BMT/Oncology unit with an experienced, tenured staff in a highly collaborative environment
- No call requirements, with an expected 12-hour night shift schedule on a well-supported unit
