As a Veterinary Assistant/Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting veterinarians and technicians by ensuring efficient patient flow, providing excellent patient care, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
Here is What Your day May Consist of- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures.
- Safely restrain animals and monitor patient comfort and wellbeing.
- Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and surgical areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hospital.
- Support laboratory procedures and basic diagnostics as directed.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients.
- Accurately document patient information and assist with medical records.
- Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant/Technician strongly preferred (on-the-job training considered for the right candidate).
- Passion for animal care and veterinary medicine.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments.
