Austin Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center (AVES) is seeking a passionate Generalist with clinical research experience—or a strong interest in developing clinical research expertise—to join our newly established Clinical Study Center in Austin, Texas.

AVES is the first hospital in the Ethos network to establish a dedicated Clinical Study Center, creating a unique opportunity to combine hands-on patient care with innovative clinical research that helps advance the future of veterinary medicine.

You’ll join a small, collaborative research team and partner with a board-certified Medical Oncologist and dedicated support staff to conduct sponsored clinical research trials, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) studies, proof-of-concept investigations, and industry-sponsored projects.

You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with leading veterinary pharmaceutical, pet food, medical device, and diagnostic companies while providing patients access to innovative and, when study-funded, fully funded treatment options.

This role is ideal for a well-rounded clinician who enjoys variety, values evidence-based medicine, and wants to make an impact beyond traditional general practice.
