AVES is seeking a second board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Radiologist to join our growing Diagnostic Imaging team. You’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary hospital where Emergency & Critical Care and specialty teams work closely together to provide advanced patient care across a diverse caseload.
You’ll practice in AVES’s new 45,000-square-foot facility with 32 exam rooms, 9 surgery suites, expanded treatment areas, and advanced imaging capabilities including a 128-slice CT, 1.5T MRI, three digital radiology suites, advanced ultrasound, and an Interventional Radiology suite with C-arm.

In your day-to-day, you will:
· Provide advanced diagnostic imaging interpretation and consultation for a diverse emergency and specialty caseload.
· Interpret CT, MRI, digital radiography, ultrasound, and fluoroscopic studies.
· Collaborate closely with Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery & Orthopedics, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Oncology, Anesthesiology, Interventional Radiology & Endoscopy, and other specialty services.
· Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and help guide diagnostic and treatment decisions.
· Work alongside the existing Radiology team to provide timely, high-quality imaging support throughout the hospital.
· Contribute to imaging protocols, quality improvement, and continued development of the Diagnostic Imaging service.
· Support and mentor veterinarians, residents, interns, and members of the technical team as appropriate.
· Build strong relationships with referring veterinarians through clear communication and collaborative case support.
· Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
What You Bring
· DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
· Board Certification in Radiology or Residency Trained in Radiology.
· Strong clinical expertise in advanced diagnostic imaging and image interpretation.
· Experience or interest in CT, MRI, ultrasound, digital radiography, and fluoroscopy.
· Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary medicine.
