Ledcor Technical Services has been building and servicing communications networks for customers across North America since 1979. As an HS&E Advisor you will lead the application of professional Health, Safety and Environment practices at assigned work or project sites, providing expert advice and recommendations to operations teams and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct hazard assessments, inspections, and focus audits of HS&E plan requirements; report findings and verify corrective actions.
  • Provide on‑site guidance to operations management on implementing company HS&E programs and addressing issues related to emergency response, performance metrics, and safety systems.
  • Mentor and support HS&E Coordinators and Advisors, helping them navigate safety processes and improve effectiveness.
  • Collect, analyze, and report safety data to recommend improvements to the effectiveness of corrective actions from incidents, inspections, and audits.
  • Lead complex incident investigations, identify root causes, and train operations teams on investigation processes and best practices.
  • Support supervisors in managing occupational injuries and illnesses, including monitoring return‑to‑work processes and implementing preventive safety measures.
Qualifications
  • 1 or more years of practical experience as an HS&E professional; telecommunications experience preferred.
  • Formal Occupational Health and Safety education is an asset.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to communicate persuasively and influence stakeholders at all levels of project hierarchy, fostering cooperation and compliance with HS&E standards.
  • Ability to pass all pre‑access requirements, including clean driver’s abstract, drug screen, and breathalyzer.
Work Conditions
  • Hybrid role: work‑from‑home flexibility blended with travel to Ledcor sites.
  • Travel required up to 50%–75% to various Ledcor offices and project sites.
