Quality Inspector

Description

Inspect and approve incoming materials by verifying specifications, performing visual and measurement checks, and identifying/rejecting non‑conforming items. Conduct random sample testing and execute advanced inspection methods, including First Article Inspections, to ensure process and product quality. Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and equipment calibration while ensuring measurement tools are functioning properly. Support production quality by troubleshooting issues, performing root‑cause analysis on returns/non‑conformances, and reporting problems requiring corrective action.

• Ability to read and interpret bill of materials, 2D and 3D models and drawings

• Ability to retrieve drawings and specifications from Team Center system

• Knowledge of shipping methods and practices
• Awareness of export control restrictions

Intermediate Level

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
