Quality Technician/ Inspector, Quality Control / Manager
Description
Inspect and approve incoming materials by verifying specifications, performing visual and measurement checks, and identifying/rejecting non‑conforming items. Conduct random sample testing and execute advanced inspection methods, including First Article Inspections, to ensure process and product quality. Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and equipment calibration while ensuring measurement tools are functioning properly. Support production quality by troubleshooting issues, performing root‑cause analysis on returns/non‑conformances, and reporting problems requiring corrective action.

Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret bill of materials, 2D and 3D models and drawings
- Basic math skills
- Ability to retrieve drawings and specifications from Team Center system
- Skilled at identifying nonconformities
- Able to use hand tools
- Superior attention to detail; must be able to produce accurate counts and generate error free work
- Knowledge of shipping methods and practices
- Awareness of export control restrictions
- Good time management skills
- Ability to multi‑task
- Effective communication skills
- Basic computer skills; knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to become forklift certified
- Report writing skills

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
