Performance Engineer/Lead
Location:
Austin TX/Remote
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Description:
- Mandatory
Skills: - Expertise on Jmeter/blaze meter – Advanced level
- API testing with jmeter/Grafana
- Good knowledge in Trading/Financial domain
- Kafka/messaging performance testing
- API virtualization concepts
- Onprem vs AWS performance testing strategies
- Sound knowledge in monitoring tools like Dynatrace/Perfmon
- Log analyzers like ELK/Splunk
- Engineering heap dumps thread dumps etc
Required Skills:
• Experience in web application and API testing
• Experience with Performance tools - Gatling, Load Runner, JMeter
• Experience with analyzing Java logs and dumps
• Experience using monitoring tools - Dynatrace and Splunk
• Ability to collect performance metrics, analyze and provide recommendations and drive performance issues to closure.
• Experience working in a scrum team in a fast-paced environment.
