Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, designs, and implement hardware, software and processes for new electronic products and improvements to existing products.
- KIF Management.
- Provide production support for technical issues with test, product configuration, and hardware.
- Data collection and analysis to support process and product improvements.
- Evaluate software injected in PCBs to ensure it meets system requirements and is bug free.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to define quality criteria and integrate testing into the earliest stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in new product development and introduction teams. Work with product engineering to develop test specifications.
- Integrate new designs and improvements into the production process.
- Improve production and test processes based on quality, cost, delivery and safety, applying automation.
- Coordinate the creation, updating, and review of work instructions and test procedures.
- Interface with internal departments (Design Engineering, Quality Assurance, etc.) to obtain resolution consensus.
- Provide cost estimates on new testing process changes.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing assembly process.
- Programming experience with software tools.
- Electronic and mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience on firmware signing as well as keys management changes.
- Development of scripts to facilitate the work to operations.
- Experience in communicating technical issues verbally and in writing.
- Ability to provide manufacturing process improvement and problem resolution support.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, take direction and work independently.
- Proven project management skills and the ability to track and meet targets.
- PCI knowledge is a plus.
- SQL database experience is a plus.
- Track record of implementing process improvements.
- Demonstrated application of Lean and Six Sigma tools.
