As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will lead a dedicated team in a high‑velocity, fast‑paced warehouse environment, responsible for ensuring that every piece of our premium ergonomic office furniture meets UPLIFT Desk’s strict quality standards. In this dynamic role, you'll help develop, implement, and continuously improve quality control procedures, conduct hands‑on inspections and audits on the floor, and spearhead the rework of supplier errors to keep inventory moving.

You will analyze data to identify trends and process improvements, and collaborate across logistics, production, and vendor teams to rapidly resolve quality issues before they ship.

What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years of quality control experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment, including 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Sheets, Docs, and Drive, with the ability to maintain records, analyze quality data, and prepare reports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear, accurate, and professional emails and communicate product nonconformities.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, train, and hold employees accountable while working alongside the team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, attention‑to‑detail, and problem‑solving skills, and willingness to perform hands‑on warehouse work, including inspections, rework, picking, packing, receiving, and material handling.
Bonus Points For
  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
  • Experience with supplier quality issues, corrective action reports, or product rework.
  • Experience improving quality procedures, inspection standards, or standard operating procedures.
  • Experience analyzing defect trends and recommending practical process improvements.
  • Experience in furniture, consumer products, manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environments.
What You’ll Do
  • Oversee the testing and inspection of products, parts, and materials to ensure they meet UPLIFT Desk’s high quality standards.
  • Lead, coach, and cross‑train the QC team on evolving product lines and advanced ergonomic furniture inspection standards to ensure high performance and adaptability.
  • Timely and accurately document product non‑conformities and assist in writing Supplier Corrective Action Reports.
  • Isolate defective inventory and coordinate physical rework operations on the floor to rapidly correct supplier mistakes and safely return items to active stock.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inbound product inspections.
  • Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Partner with inbound and outbound logistics teams to immediately address quality bottlenecks, preventing damaged materials from entering the warehouse or delaying customer shipments.
  • Assist in defining inspection criteria, protocols, and sampling plans according to established best practices.
  • Assist with picking, packing, receiving, material handling, and other warehouse and fulfillment duties as needed to support daily operations.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
