Job Title: Engineering Technician II

Location: Burnet, TX

Entegris currently seeking an Engineering Technician II to join our New Product Engineering team. This position will be based in our Burnet, TX facility. In this role, you will be a key player along with skilled engineers on a dynamic New Product Introduction team whose objective is to develop and transfer processes and equipment to the manufacturing team. These processes and equipment produce and deliver specialty chemicals used by our customers to build high performance semiconductor products.

• Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and training to technicians to ensure effective performance.
• Delegate work assignments, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to company policies and SOPs.
• Conduct critical-to-quality audits and ensure all work meets established standards.
• Recognize strong performance and address issues with appropriate documentation and follow‑up.
• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols, PPE use, and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure equipment can be reliable and meet quality and cost targets.
• Identify and report potential hazards; coach employees on safe behaviors.
• Maintain accurate documentation and electronic transactions to meet ISO and internal requirements.
• Support internal, customer, and ISO audits in partnership with Quality and Management.
• Ensure production schedules are met while minimizing downtime and unnecessary costs.
• Collaborate with schedulers and planners to manage workflow and resolve interruptions.
• Troubleshoot non‑routine issues and ensure technicians have the tools and equipment needed.
• Implement quality improvements using structured problem‑solving methods such as 8D.
• Lead and maintain 6S activities within the work area.
• Work with Engineering to update standards, PMs, and spare parts requirements.
• Propose and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Perform lab maintenance tasks including PMs, supply ordering, housekeeping, and waste disposal.
• Conduct quality testing and inspections on finished products.
• This activity includes design for enhancements to existing equipment manufacturability and new product equipment.

• High school diploma required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a high‑tech manufacturing environment (semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical, aerospace, automotive, etc.).
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong sense of urgency and sound decision‑making skills.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities with consistent follow‑through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong visual inspection skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45000 standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 70 lbs.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities; able to manage multiple tasks.
