Packager, Quality Assurance - QA​/QC

Description

The Packager is a critical member of our operations team, reporting to the Logistics department. This position is responsible for ensuring that all finished units are prepared, packaged, and inspected to meet our organizational quality standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Packager will also collaborate closely with the Order Fulfillment team to prioritize and expedite the processing of key units.

The Packager is a critical member of our operations team, reporting to the Logistics department. This position is responsible for ensuring that all finished units are prepared, packaged, and inspected to meet our organizational quality standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Packager will also collaborate closely with the Order Fulfillment team to prioritize and expedite the processing of key units.

• Perform thorough packaging of finished units according to documented specifications and work instructions.
• Conduct quality inspections at the point of packaging to ensure compliance with company SOPs and established quality standards.
• Identify and report any nonconforming material or packaging defects to the QC and Production team to ensure product integrity.

• Coordinate with the Order Fulfillment team to identify and prioritize high-importance orders.
• Ensure priority units are processed, packed, and ready for shipment in a timely manner to meet our on-time shipment performance targets.
• Maintain accurate kanban rotation and labeling for all packaged goods to ensure inventory integrity.

• Maintain awareness of the company Quality Policy and Quality Objectives, understanding your role within the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Adhere strictly to all established SOPs, safety protocols, and operational controls.
• Document all packaging activities and quality checks as required by the organization’s documented information systems, ensuring records are maintained for traceability.

• High attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to read and understand SOPs and quality inspection criteria.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with logistics, QC, and fulfillment teams.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, packaging, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
