Supplier Quality Engineer
Onsite Contract Role
Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing
Qualification: Degree in Mechanical, E&E, E&C, or Production Engineering
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to manage and improve the quality of parts and products from our suppliers. You’ll work closely with contract manufacturers, inspect incoming goods, and ensure high-quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Perform incoming and outgoing quality inspections.
- Work with suppliers to meet timelines and product quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits and follow up on corrective actions.
- Support shop floor quality and understand various manufacturing processes.
- Prepare and review FAI documentation.
- Analyze data using tools like SPC and monitor yield performance.
Skills Needed:
- Strong knowledge of inspection methods and basic metrology.
- Good MS Excel and presentation skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Logical thinker and quick learner.
