The Assistant Property Manager acts as the right-hand to the General Manager to ensure the efficient daily operations of their luxury community of flexible-stay unfurnished and furnished apartments. The Assistant Property Manager holds a wide range of key support responsibilities including but not limited to invoicing, processing payments, reporting, budgeting, ensuring resident records are accurate, assisting the leasing and resident services teams, coordinating with the maintenance and housekeeping teams and providing a superior level of service to residents.

Responsibilities- Ensure all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the community are running smoothly
- Assist the General Manager from a leadership perspective to ensure the team is operating at the highest level
- Utilize strong communication across all departments to collaborate effectively in order to meet and exceed team goals
- Provide high-level support to other departments such as leasing and resident services
- Provide direction to maintenance, housekeeping, and resident services team members regarding daily tasks, if instructed by the General Manager or in their absence
- Prepare accurate invoices for new and existing corporate clients to ensure timely remittance of payment
- Process all receipts daily including rent payments, credit card charges, and ACH payments
- Maintain accurate resident rent ledgers and personal information
- Process new applications and set up and execute new leases
- Process and negotiate lease renewals as per the direction of the General Manager
- Process accounts payable with the General Manager's approval
- Monitor the financial operation and achieving budgeted NOI
- Assist with resident relations and enforce community rules and regulations
- Maintain accuracy of all resident and vendor files
- Maintain strong relationships and manage communication with all vendor partners
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with accounting, bookkeeping, and/or financial management and reporting
- Strong detail orientation and high degree of accuracy
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Superior time management skills and proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of industry software systems such as Yardi, Voyager, PAYScan, and Oscar is a plus
- Hospitality, travel, relocation, corporate housing, or multifamily industry experience strongly preferred
- $70,000-$80,000/year
Individual compensation decisions will vary as the annual base compensation range provided is approximate and determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, education, and geographic location. AVE also offers additional bonus potential paid out on a monthly and/or quarterly basis (dependent upon the position), which is not included in the base compensation range listed above.
