Job Description

The Memory and Aging Lab is hiring a Research Coordinator to manage community‑based subject recruitment of ethnoracially varied samples, subject testing, and some data acquisition and analysis. The position offers opportunities for co‑authorship of manuscripts and conference presentations, participation in research talks, and auditing of courses. Primary duties include community‑based participant recruitment and screening through in‑person, online, and phone methods, clinical assessments and cognitive testing of young, middle‑aged, and older participants.

Secondary duties include data collection using EEG and MRI methods, some data analysis, and coordination of research activities with other lab personnel.

Required Qualifications

B.A./B.S. or equivalent in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field. All candidates should have strong organization skills, excellent interpersonal skills, strong computer skills, experience working with human subjects, and an interest in human subjects’ research. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in Spanish, understanding of cultural psychology
  • Experience in computer programming, knowledge of univariate and/or multivariate statistics
  • Experience with Python and/or RStudio, EEG and/or MRI data acquisition and analysis
Salary Range

$21 per hour

Working Conditions
