Job Title
Research Engineering/Scientist Associate I (RESA I) – Center for Energy and Environmental Systems Analysis, Cockrell School of Engineering.
Location & HoursPickle Research Campus, Austin, TX. Full‑time, 40 hours per week.
Start Date & DurationImmediate. Expected to continue until Aug 31 2026.
Responsibilities- Data analysis and interpretation of data collected in Austin and in environmental chamber experiments.
- Conduct mobile measurements of particulate matter in and near the UT Austin campus.
- Communicate with collaborators throughout the project and share findings with the scientific community; support preparation of peer‑reviewed publications.
- Assist in conducting laboratory chamber experiments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with measurements.
- Experience with data analysis.
- Ability to work well in collaborative, cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience in statistical modeling, data analysis, and scientific programming languages (Python, Matlab, or R).
- Familiarity with a variety of air quality instrumentation.
$35,568 plus adjustments based on qualifications.
