Postdoctoral Fellow – Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (Cockrell School of Engineering)
Location: UT Main Campus
Position Duration: Until May 31, 2027
Start Date: June 1, 2026
Hours: 40 per week
Dr. Qin Huang’s laboratory is seeking an experienced researcher to conduct advanced power electronics research and support laboratory operations.
Responsibilities- Carry out research on GaN and SiC power converters
- Maintain laboratory equipment and order supplies
- Mentor graduate students in the research group
- Perform related duties as assigned
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field earned within the past 3 years
- Experience in power electronics hardware development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Standard office conditions
- Electrical and mechanical hazards present
- Repetitive use of a keyboard
$75,568 per year.
