The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail; show proficiency in managing multiple tasks and working both independently as well as with a team. The Research Associate will be provided with training in clinical assessments and will gain experience in general research administration and the preparation of publications and conference presentations.

Position is a fixed-term 1 year position.
Responsibilities- Coordinating recruitment efforts for an ongoing clinical trial that examines a community based aerobic exercise intervention for smoking cessation in adults with high anxiety sensitivity.
- Organizing and overseeing data collection and study protocols, including management, cleaning, and preparation of data collected via online survey platforms (REDCap, R-Studio, Qualtrics).
- Interfacing with research and clinical staff to maintain effective communication regarding participant scheduling, data management, and quality control.
- Conducting clinical interviews and preparing assessments.
- Maintaining and revising IRB protocols and assisting with research compliance reports and procedures.
- Supervision of undergraduate students conducting data entry and other tasks.
A minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field and prior research experience (including experience as a student) though relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred QualificationsHas prior research experience in a psychology lab, speaks English and Spanish, and has experience with the data management and use of software programs for statistical analysis such as REDCap and R-Studio.
