Location: MONTOPOLIS RESEARCH CENTER
PurposeThe Senior Failure Analysis Lab Technician will run and maintain failure analysis (F/A) equipment and provide F/A results in a timely manner.
Responsibilities- Run dual-beam FIBs and SEM/X-Ray data collection with complementary surface science analytical tool operations
- Perform detailed sample preparation to enable feature measurements, defect detection and domain-specific failure analysis
- Present results, compile reports and work in a team incorporating feedback from engineers and other technicians
- Develop processes-of-record and implement these on product samples for customers
- Performs other related functions as assigned
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Eight years experience in sample preparation and failure analysis techniques
- Goal-oriented and ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in teams
- Associate’s degree or a higher degree in science, engineering or other relevant disciplines
- Ten years experience in sample preparation and failure analysis techniques
- Experience with semiconductor equipment and processes
- Experience in a research or start-up environment
$60,000 + depending on qualifications
Working Conditions- Uniforms and/or personal protection equipment (furnished)

- May work around electrical and mechanical hazards
- Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
- Use of manual dexterity (ex: using a mouse)
