A political consulting firm in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Researcher to conduct in-depth research, monitor political developments, and produce clear, actionable research materials. This opportunity is open to candidates across a range of experience levels.

• Research political candidates, public records, voting histories, policy issues, and other relevant topics.
• Monitor news coverage and identify important political and public affairs developments.
• Develop research memos, reports, talking points, briefings, and other written materials.
• Gather, analyze, and organize information from public records, databases, and other research sources.
• Support rapid-response, investigative, and opposition research projects.

• Political, campaign, research, communications, journalism, investigative, or related experience preferred.
• Strong research, writing, editing, proofreading, and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to analyze complex information and summarize findings clearly and accurately.
• Familiarity with public records, research databases, campaign finance information, or similar research tools preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines.
• Strong judgment when handling sensitive or confidential research.

$65,000–$105,000 annually
, depending on experience, plus benefits.
