Austin Country Club is hiring a full-time or part-time Mens Grill Hospitality Attendant to serve members in our dining area and ensure they are well taken care of.

• 1+ years of restaurant serving experience
• Deep knowledge of proper alcohol and food service
• Clean and professional appearance and attitude
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to work with your team to meet goals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, move 25 lbs., and stand/walk for extended periods
• Genuine passion for customer service and member satisfaction
• High school degree or equivalent
• Country club experience
  - preferred
• Computer skills
  - preferred

This serving position pays $13.00 per hour and includes an 18% service charge

Founded in 1899, Austin Country Club is one of the oldest existing clubs in Texas and home to Harvey Penick, one of the greatest golf instructors who ever lived. We are located along the banks of the Colorado River with Austin's iconic Pennybacker Bridge as our backdrop.

Spanning over 180 acres of hill country vistas and canyon views in Davenport Ranch, our property is just 10 miles west of downtown Austin.

• Working Tuesday through Sunday during the PM with some holidays and double shifts required
• Setting the tone for world-class dining experiences, including setting up the dining area, maintaining food service and storage areas, and cleaning common areas
• Professionally greeting guests, taking orders, answering questions, and explaining menu items as needed
• Serving food and alcohol orders and ensuring checks are accurate
• Closing out checks, preparing check-out reports, and handling tip outs
• Collaborating with management and informing managers about guest feedback, member complaints, and any accidents or issues
• Attending staff meetings and participating in training
• Continually learning more about alcohol and food service
• Working with your team to handle other responsibilities as assigned
