Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Full Time | Barista | Velvet Joe's Coffee House at the beautiful Barton Creek Resort & Spa! Ranked among the best resorts in Texas:
Top 5 Resorts in the Southwest Conde Nast Traveler and Top 5 Resorts in Texas Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards 2024.

Attend to guests in Velvet Joe's Cafe/Gift Shop. The candidate will up‑sell beverages, pastries and other selections, accurately process transactions, and provide excellent service to all guests.

• Serving guests in Velvet Joe's coffee shop.
• Answering guest questions about menu items.
• Brewing gourmet coffee and other specialty beverages.
• Up‑selling and suggestive selling of items.
• Accurately processing transactions and maintaining a balanced bank.
• Assist in presentation of gift shop.
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.
• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items.

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Previous barista experience preferred.
• Must have cash handling experience.
• Must have a flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to bend, push, pull and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift at least 30lbs.
• Must have active TABC license and Food Handler Certificate at time of hire.
