The Assistant Operating Partner supports the Operating Partner in managing the daily operations and executing service in our restaurant and golf operations, including the selection, development, and performance management of employees. In addition, they oversee the inventory and ordering of food and supplies and ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining and golf experience.

The Assistant Operating Partner (aka Assistant General Manager) reports to the Operating Partner.

Compensation: $70k‑$80k plus Quarterly & Yearly Bonus

• Support General Manager in ensuring that the restaurant and golf operations meet service, sales, and profit objectives and supervise and direct staff in daily work activities.
• At all times provide a favorable image of Pop Stroke to promote its “Best in Class” philosophy.
• Run shifts, assist with service as needed, and create an environment that is positive, productive & fun to work in.
• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs.
• Provide the direction and training required to ensure that the guest’s expectations are exceeded and that each shift that they oversee achieves its business goals.
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints in a timely manner, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
• Ensure team members are executing at the highest level for the guest experience.
• Assist with hiring, supervision, and when necessary, termination of employees.
• Conduct orientation, explain the Pop Stroke philosophy, and oversee the training of new employees.
• Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback, assist with establishing performance expectations and performance reviews.
• Increase management’s effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members, communicating values, strategies, and objectives.
• Assist with scheduling.
• Assist General Manager with all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll‑related administrative duties.
• Assist the General Manager with efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies.
• Oversee retail and manage merchandise controls.
• Responsible for completing reports accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
