Taverna - Austin Downtown is looking for an exceptional Food Runner to join our team. If you thrive in a team setting, enjoy staying on the move, and care about great service, we want to meet you!
Responsibilities- Swiftly deliver dishes from our kitchen to eager guests
- Double-check every plate for accuracy, presentation, and guest preferences
- Communicate clearly with chefs and servers to keep everything running smoothly
- Serve drinks and lend a helping hand to servers during peak times
- Answer guest questions about our ingredients and menu items with confidence
- Help keep the dining room pristine: set tables, clear plates, and make sure guests feel taken care of
- Experience in restaurants preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are even better
- Ability to lift, bend, reach, and carry heavy trays with ease
- Comfortable standing and moving for long periods
- Basic knowledge of our guests preferred languages is a plus
- A passion for hospitality and a team-first mindset
