The Shop Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of a Juice Land location. This role includes managing staff scheduling, training, and performance, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining product quality and consistency. The Shop Manager monitors inventory, places orders, manages cash handling and daily reconciliations, and supports adherence to health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
The role also involves driving sales, implementing promotional initiatives, resolving guest concerns, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture. The Shop Manager collaborates with regional leadership, provides regular performance updates, and supports new team member onboarding.
- Experience in retail or food & beverage management, including staff supervision, scheduling, and performance coaching.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and team members.
- Basic operational and administrative skills, including cash handling, inventory management, and use of point-of-sale systems.
- Knowledge of or interest in health, nutrition, and wellness products, including smoothies, juices, and plant-based foods.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance with local health regulations.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Prior experience as an assistant manager, shift lead, or similar role in a hospitality or quick-service environment is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in business, hospitality, or management is a plus.
