Shift supervisor, Restaurant​/Food Service

As a Shift Supervisor at Café Crème, you'll be a key leader in our daily operations, responsible for managing shifts, developing team members, and ensuring we deliver exceptional experiences to every guest. This role combines hands‑on café work with leadership responsibilities.

You’ll oversee both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations, making real‑time decisions to optimize service flow, resolve challenges, and maintain our quality standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a positive work environment where team members can thrive.

• Supervise and coordinate daily café operations
• Lead, train, and mentor baristas and kitchen staff
• Ensure consistent quality in all products and services
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly
• Manage cash handling, deposits, and inventory
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Communicate with management on operational matters

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in food service
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong coffee and food service knowledge
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
• Food Handler's License and safety certifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
