- Food Service Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is a 365-entertainment destination for world-class events located in Austin, TX. The sports and entertainment portfolio at COTA is unmatched in the country with Formula 1 US Grand Prix, NASCAR, and MotoGP attracting global fans during championship races on the famed Circuit and Live Nation producing over 30 headline concerts every year at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater.
Proof of the Pudding, operator of COTA Catering, is seeking Hospitality Bartenders to join the Premium team. Hospitality Bartenders are responsible for product inventory, making simple beverages, following policies, and bar clean up post event. Work assignments and tasks can change daily based on the immediate needs of the event calendar.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for both pre & post bar set-up/breakdown responsibilities.
- Sets bar up in a timely manner, including icing down product.
- Communicates well with bar back personnel during the event to assist them with replenishment during shift.
- Greets all guests and gives exceptional customer service.
- Attentive to guests needs throughout the entire event.
- Cleans bar after closing, discard excess ice.
- Record closing inventory
- Responsible for putting away all inventory as directed.
- Follows all federal, local, and venue alcohol policies.
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of bartending experience
- Must be TIPs/TEAM certified (will accept Team certification or will provide training).
- Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required.
- Must be extremely hardworking and organized.
- Must be exceedingly responsible and accountable.
- Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Renowned time management and organization skills.
- Strong Customer Service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client’s needs.
- The ability to work alone and as a team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
The work environment for this position will work out of and report to Circuit of the Americas. Events may be indoors, outdoors, or in temporary structures. This position will often move throughout the grounds and venue on different terrains.

Physical Demands- Prolonged periods of being in one place, moving through an event space, and traveling from venue to venue.
- Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting up-to 30 pounds.
