• Provide friendly, courteous and helpful service to customers.
• Assist customers, clean, fill and rotate tortilla displays, and assist making a variety of tortillas and masa for the department.
• Work in a fast-paced grocery store environment; participate in lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as required.

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
