Position Summary
The Staff Accountant supports the Assistant Controller in the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies as well as state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain monthly account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and supporting documentation
Compile, review, and submit sales commission reports for management and sales approval
Process daily ACH transactions and record/categorize incoming payments
Maintain and update advertising and financial tracking spreadsheets
Assist the General Manager and Department Managers with accounting-related requests
Review schedules regularly and prepare necessary journal entries
Prepare weekly and monthly financial analysis reports for the Controller and General Managers
Assist with the preparation of financial statements
Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
Maintain a professional appearance and an organized work environment
Follow company policies, procedures, and lawful supervisory direction
Uphold confidentiality, non-disclosure agreements, and data integrity standards
Attend company meetings as required
Perform additional duties as assigned
