Overview

This is a permanent part‑time role. Base hours average 6‑7 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload, with additional hours for special projects from January through June. Full scheduling details will be reviewed during the interview.

Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve sales performance of the product and retailer.

Retail Scan Associates use a downloadable app on their mobile phone to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store. While scanning barcodes each week, you will be asked to provide the quantity of about 45% of the products scanned.

• Visit assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks, to perform in‑store data collection.
• Complete Display Scanning of the entire store each week.
• Provide product quantity information for approximately 45% of scanned products.
• Respond to custom projects requested by clients, which may add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work for specific weeks.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of data to clients.

Compliance with deadlines is critical to deliver accurate data to our clients. We expect reliability, quality‑driven action, and independence.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure long periods on your feet while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand as required.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline‑driven self‑starter.
• Reliably connect to Wi‑Fi.
• Tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

This position is expected to remain open for approximately 30 days and may close earlier if sufficient qualified candidates are identified.
