About the CompanyAn oil & gas company seeks Production Regulatory Accountant to join their team.
What You'll Be Doing- Manage and reconcile daily and monthly production volumes (oil, gas, water, NGLs) at the well, lease, and tank battery level
- Set up new wells, facilities, and equipment configurations in Quorum ODP
- Collect, enter, and validate daily production data including run tickets, gas sales, and water production
- Identify and resolve variances between production data and purchaser statements
- Prepare and file monthly reports with the Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) and New Mexico Oil Conservation Division (NMOCD)
- Submit drilling permits, well completions, saltwater disposal, and commingling applications
- Record revenue receipts and match cash collections to validated production volumes
- Track timing differences between field production months and cash receipt months
- Analyze Lease Operating Expenses (LOE) and support month-end close
- 2–5 years of upstream oil and gas experience in production accounting or regulatory affairs
- Quorum ODP and/or ODA experience strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of RRC and NMOCD filing requirements
