Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Maintain all inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floor.
• Support store sales productivity and customer service by processing all inventory transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure all sizes and styles are represented accurately.
• Communicate product stock level and quality issues to the General Manager and Associate Manager as necessary to avoid shrink.
• Keep the stock room clean and organized at all times.
• Perform shipping/receiving tasks efficiently, cost‑effectively, and timely.
• Stock shelves and racks as needed.
• Assist in preparation and execution of the store’s physical inventory and actively participate in resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Support daily operations, including opening & closing the store, handling the registers, visual maintenance, and all inventory tasks.
• Set an example of operational excellence by following policies & procedures while raising standards through proper tool and equipment use.
• Support the sales team with tasks such as running sizes, assisting at the cash register, advising on size and stock availability, and other related support.
• Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in communication and teamwork when interacting with coworkers, clients, and management.

• Minimum of two years experience in a retail environment – stock experience preferred.
• Full understanding of specialty retail.
• Computer skills, including operation of retail point‑of‑sale system, Word, Excel, and email.
• Ability to thrive within a high‑paced environment, multi‑task with ease while maintaining a balance of daily responsibilities.
• A positive, outgoing, high‑energy personality that is entrepreneurial and sales‑focused.
