Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Stocking, Retail Support, Cashier
Position Summary
You will provide member service, manage the checkout area, resolve member issues, promote Sam's Club products and services, and support members in using self‑service technology. You will process purchases, handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and maintain safety standards, including conducting safety sweeps and reporting unsafe situations. Your responsibilities also include managing entrance and exit areas, verifying membership, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, arranging and organizing merchandise, and ensuring a safe shopping environment.
You will be involved in training front‑line associates, delivering new program rollouts, and providing continuous learning opportunities.
- Provide member service and support for all member interactions.
- Maintain checkout area and process payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies.
- Enroll in safety procedures, conduct safety sweeps, and report unsafe situations to facility management.
- Verify membership cards, identify member needs, and assist with purchasing decisions.
- Organize merchandise, zone the area, and identify shrink and damages.
- Maintain entrance and exit areas, including reviewing receipts and safeguarding assets.
- Execute emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with security and safety practices.
- Train and develop front‑line associates on company processes, new technology, and tool functionality.
- Provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
