Austin ; Hwy​/Braker Grocery - Overnight Stock Controller

Job Summary:

As a Stock Controller, you will lead and maintain a well-stocked department while providing superior customer service. You will perform supervisory duties such as scheduling, training, developing partners, and managing inventory and in‑stocks.

• Management / Training:
  In the absence of the Department Manager, lead the overnight stocking team by delegating, directing, and motivating partners. Hold the team accountable, manage conflicts, provide input on partner performance, assist with new hire onboarding and training, help with scheduling and reporting on overtime and hospitality results, and use technology and data to manage inventory and in‑stocks.
• Customer Service:
  Provide excellent customer service by modeling and coaching partners on service and hospitality, answering customer questions, assisting selections, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and merchandising products effectively.

• Work Experience:
  
  3+ months stocking or customer service and experience leading an overnight or large team.
• Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  Understanding of technology.

• Education/Certification:
  
  Completion of forklift / power jack training.

  Work in a fast‑paced environment; constantly reach at waist, grasp; frequently stand, walk, bend; occasionally overhead reach, shoulder, knee, floor, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs, pivot, twist, push / pull with arms, pinch, perform fine‑motor movements; occasionally exposed to cold, loud noise, ambient temperatures, and wet conditions; demonstrate the ability to lift 50 lbs in grocery (and 66 lbs in drugstore) and manage in excess of 100 lbs where required;
