Overview

Eco-Spot ADC Attendant

The Eco-Spot ADC Attendant receives donations at the designated donation center, issues receipts for donations, sorts donated merchandise into assigned categories, and maintains a neat, clean, safe, and professional work area in accordance with center procedures.

• Open and close the donation center in a proper and timely manner.
• Accept donations within the approved categories and in good condition; politely refuse items outside of policy.
• Issue receipts for donated goods to donors.
• Assist in unloading donated items and provide courteous customer service.
• Accurately report incidents and accidents to the supervisor.
• Maintain neat, clean, well-groomed appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
• Complete required paperwork neatly and accurately.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, safe, and professional at all times.
• Record and monitor donations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Comply with Mid-West Textile/Eco-Spot policies, including participating in store meetings and training.
• Adhere to the work schedule set by the supervisor.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

• Ability to provide good customer service with a positive, courteous, and friendly attitude.
• Ability to follow verbal or written instructions.
• Ability to make quick decisions regarding merchandise quality.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Ability to work at different locations if requested.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and twist for eight hours.
