Position Summary:

The Retail North Lead is a non‑exempt, part‑time position at our main store that reports to the Manager, Product Flow & Inventory. This role is responsible for supporting all processes related to the Custom Shop, web order pick‑up, and graduation services, including the use of our warehouse management system (Ship Hawk), and POS system (Shopify), and Net Suite. The Retail North Lead is expected to uphold customer service commitments, mentor and coach sales associates, and maintain organization and cleanliness standards in assigned areas.

This role partners closely with the part‑time store team, store people managers, and the store lead team.

Key Accountabilities & Achievements:
  • Custom Shop
    • Oversee Custom Shop processes, including execution and inventory management.
    • Mentor and train part‑time sales associates on Custom Shop procedures and expectations.
    • Maintain and support operational consistency through training and daily oversight.
    • Provide customer service support by addressing Custom Shop‑related questions, concerns, and inventory issues.
    • Ensure daily cleaning and organization of all Custom Shop areas.
  • Web Pick‑Up
    • Oversee and maintain the Web Pick‑Up area, ensuring it is organized and fully operational.
    • Support order management by following established procedures and maintaining organization throughout all pick‑up zones.
    • Troubleshoot order issues and assist with customer concerns as needed.
    • Ensure daily cleaning and organization of all Web Pick‑Up areas, including non‑customer‑facing spaces.
  • Coach and Develop Team Members
    • Empower team members to take ownership of their roles by delegating tasks, following up, and providing constructive feedback to ensure success of the individual, team, and department.
  • Lead and mentor sales associates by exemplifying our core values, demonstrating customer service standards, and ensuring SOPs are followed.
  • Recognize when sales associates need guidance or support and proactively offer assistance.
  • Manager on Duty Responsibilities
    • Support driving the business.
    • Open and close the store.
    • Handle cash responsibilities including drawer counts.
    • Support the team as floor manager and handle general operational needs.
Knowledge, Abilities & Experience for Success:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Communicate with internal and external partners.
  • Lead, or similar role, experience (preferred).
  • Technology experience: POS system and Warehouse Management System preferred.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to move about and ascend/descend stairs, ramps, and ladders.
  • Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.
  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); color vision (able to identify and distinguish colors).
  • Continuous standing, walking, using stairs, hearing, speaking, bending, crouching, and working in close proximity with others.
  • Ability to work a varying retail schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and game days.
  • Well‑lit, heated and/or air‑conditioned indoor retail setting with adequate ventilation.
  • Moderate noise (examples: customer and employee conversation, store music, light traffic).
