Store Manager, Retail & Store Manager

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a driven Store Manager to lead daily operations, sales, and team performance in a high-volume retail environment. You will own the in-store athlete experience, driving results through strong leadership, coaching, and a passion for sports. Responsibilities include managing staffing, training, scheduling, and performance; overseeing merchandising, inventory, and visual standards; and ensuring operational excellence, safety, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations, ensuring sales, service, and merchandising standards are met
• Drive sales performance through KPIs, goal setting, and action plans
• Recruit, train, schedule, and coach associates and department leaders
• Model outstanding customer service aligned with a sports-focused, inclusive culture
• Oversee inventory control, stock levels, and product presentation
• Maintain shrink control, safety, and loss prevention standards
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and retail regulations
• Partner with district leadership on community events and local marketing initiatives
• Analyze sales reports to optimize staffing, merchandising, and pricing decisions
