The Account Executive is a high-performing, customer-centric sales professional with a background in Corporate B2B SaaS. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities across a diverse geographical region. This is an individual contributor role that requires a high degree of autonomy, a consultative approach, and a passion for working in a disruptive, fast-paced market.
Civitech is a remote-first company hiring within our current footprint of 27 states (AL, AK, CA, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, IL, MA, MD, MN, NC, ND, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, SD, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI, WY);
Civitech does have an office in Austin, TX. The Account Executive will be expected to work hours applicable to the sales territory they own.
About our Sales Team:
The Sales Team at Civitech is focused on empowering Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations with cutting-edge technology and data solutions. By building and nurturing strategic partnerships, we drive the adoption of our tools and expand Civitech's impact nationwide.
The Account Executive is on our Sales Team, and reports to our VP of Sales. The Account Executive is an individual contributor.

What You Will Do:
* Manage & Expand:
Lead strategic conversations with current B2B customers to ensure satisfaction and identify up-sell/cross-sell opportunities.
* Strategic Prospecting:
Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to penetrate new corporate and organizational markets.
* Market Intelligence:
Conduct industry research and leverage the findings to identify trends in the civic tech and corporate social responsibility (CSR) sectors.
* Full-Cycle Sales:
Build and maintain a robust pipeline, accurately forecasting deal values and timelines within Hub Spot.
* Consultative Selling:
Lead high-level discovery calls with stakeholders to qualify needs and align Civitech's value proposition with their business goals.
* Brand Representation:
Attend virtual and in-person industry events to build our network within the corporate and social impact ecosystem.
* Collaboration:
Work closely with the broader sales and product teams to act as a consultant for complex client requirements.
About You:
* Experience:
2+ years of consultative B2B sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
* Outbound Excellence:
You are a "hunter" who can find and close opportunities through cold outreach, Linked In Sales Navigator, and networking (75%) while effectively managing inbound leads (25%).
* Scale:
Proven ability to manage a high volume of active opportunities (45+) simultaneously without losing attention to detail.
* Methodology:
Skilled in solution-selling or similar consultative sales frameworks.
* Presence:
Comfortable conducting professional product demonstrations and presentations to executive-level stakeholders.
* Complexity:
Experienced in navigating "sale-by-committee" environments with multiple cross-functional decision-makers (HR, Legal, Marketing, etc.).
* Mission-Driven:
Committed to leveraging data and technology to increase civic engagement and empower progressive, mission-aligned organizations.
Additional Qualifications (desired but not required)
* Experience with Hubspot
* Relationship building, and great oral and written communication skills
* Experience selling to CSR departments, ESG teams, or Higher Education Institutions.

$60,000 - $70,000 a year
Classification, Salary, and Benefits:
Full-time, competitive salary commensurate with location and experience.
Base salary: $60,000 - $70,000
Target Earnings: $140,000
