Red Book Connect is currently seeking a Global Sales Engineer to join our Sales organization. Our Global Sales Engineer will be responsible for enabling the Red Book Connect Sales Consulting worldwide to successfully demonstrate Red Book Connect Applications to RBC prospects and customers.

• Lead strategic demo creation and field support for sales consultants worldwide
• Assist product strategy and development to validate and provide sales and customer feedback to improve product design
• Work with the Red Book Connect Products and Operations teams to design, plan and roll out secure demonstration environments in a repeatable manner using automation
• Assist fellow Sales Engineers in demonstration preparation and customization
• Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, as well as product future direction
• Discuss details of solution with deeply technical customers. This includes detailed discussions of data integration, inclusion of complex business processes, end-user capabilities and flexibility
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
• Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives
• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
• Provide training and produce support material for other members of the sales team
• Create and contribute to a positive, professional, and fun environment and adhere to the company’s core values

• Proficient knowledge of network infrastructure, SQL Server, .NET and Java
  .
• Skilled at running and demonstrating applications on mobile devices including iOS, Android and Windows smartphones and tablets in hostile poor network environments
• Populate and create credible demo data using scripting or 3rd party tools
• 5+ years in global sales engineering or similar experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or business related field
• Restaurant technology experience or experience selling into restaurants preferred
• High sales aptitude
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Strong understanding and ability to articulate new technologies and corresponding value propositions
• Energetic, creative, organized, and self-motivated individuals
• Ability to deliver on business commitments
