The Opportunity

We are looking for a Sales Executive to establish and grow Saas Worx’s presence in the Chicago market. This is our first dedicated hire in the region — a rare opportunity to build a market from the ground up, backed by a strong global delivery team and executive support.

In this role, you will build and manage relationships with mid‑market clients — from first conversation through onboarding and ongoing expansion. You will work closely with our Alliance and Pre‑Sales teams to identify opportunities, lead pursuits, and close new business. This is a high‑visibility, quota‑carrying role with direct access to the CEO.

What You Will Do Client Development
  • Identify, pursue, and close new mid‑market client opportunities across target verticals in the Chicago region and broader Central Region.
  • Own the full sales cycle — from discovery and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and contract signature.
  • Partner with our Alliance team to identify joint opportunities and coordinate pursuit strategy.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Practice Heads during pre‑sales to develop compelling, client‑specific proposals.
Revenue Ownership
  • Carry and meet a quarterly revenue quota.
  • Maintain an accurate and healthy pipeline; forecast with discipline.
  • Drive deal velocity and close new SOWs with support from Saas Worx leadership on pricing and strategy.
  • Identify and close expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for new accounts through onboarding and into delivery.
  • Coordinate closely with the Customer Success team to ensure smooth handoffs and high client satisfaction.
  • Represent client interests internally — advocate for delivery quality and elevate risks proactively.
  • Build long‑term trusted advisor relationships that generate referrals and repeat business.
What We Are Looking For (Required)
  • 3–6 years of experience in enterprise technology sales, consulting services sales, or solution selling.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a services or consulting environment.
  • Experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles in mid‑market accounts.
  • Strong executive presence — comfortable running discovery calls, presenting to C‑suite, and negotiating contracts.
  • Highly organized, self‑directed, and able to thrive in a lean, fast‑moving company.
  • Based in Chicago, IL; comfortable with regional travel as needed.
Preferred
  • Prior experience selling Salesforce implementation, managed services, or consulting engagements.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce, Field Service, or Revenue Cloud.
  • Experience selling into Manufacturing, Consumer & Business Services, or Retail & Consumer Packaged Goods verticals.
  • Background at a Salesforce consulting partner, ISV, or systems integrator.
